Acid vs. heat BG: Little fruit but decent structure and acidity; quite acidic finish AKG: Strawberry, ash, smoked oysters? Oak – nice structure and acidity JL: Tart- light body- soft tannins- little fruit- short crisp tannic finish KM: Meaty, earthy, fair amount of tannins, medium/high acidity; a bit bitter EU: Balanced tannin/acidity, fresh cherry, light meaty (raw meat) notes. Medium finish of fresh cherry MW: Dry cherry, cranberry, rubber, medium tannins in finish
